The Demise of Third Party Cookies
Third party cookies are, sooner or later, going away. The browser vendors have decided that they simply are too damaging to privacy. There’s even a w3c group designed to address the collateral damage around identity federation systems which have grown up in the past decades.
If you run your own CIAM system, you can start to build a profile of your users as well as offer self-serve options for them to update and control their profile and consents. There are plenty of other reasons for choosing a CIAM system, but the coming end of third party cookies offers incentive to migrate to one soon.
Cheers,
Dan
